My husband and I are not big modern art fans so half the stuff we just didn't get, but if you are then you'll probably enjoy it. It's a nice building, a pleasant place to wander around, has an interesting shop, and the cafe food was decent. A good place to spend a few hours if you like modern art,... More

This museum ranks up there with the great modern art museums in London, Paris and Amsterdam. The range of pieces is very impressive from Warhol to Van Gough to Dali. Munchs scream was there when we vistied which was fantastic. There were warhols in the cafe and some of our favourites from Klimt and Pollock in the galleries. The lay... More

MoMa is brilliant. The collection is breath-taking with examples of the world's greatest modern artists. No need to comment on the art. The displays are clear and informative, the lighting excellent. Plenty of information points to guide you. Great policy of allowing you to photograph anything other than special exhibitions (presumable due to archaic copyright laws). Other museums please take... This is one of the world's greatest museums, superbly organised with an atmosphere and facilities doing justice to the inspiring collection of exhibits.

This is a beautiful multi-level building, with lots of cut out windows and internal balconies so you can see the other floors, and often their ground floor exhibit takes advantage of the fact the people can also look down on it from higher floors and gain something from the higher perspective. Their permanent collection has great works by all the... More

Fab place . Spent the whole day there. Entry is free after 6pm on Fridays but I believe thr queues are very long. If you can time your visit to inclde one of their 'conversations' - a tour by a very knowledgeable member of staff around a chosen exhibition - the tours are free and take about 90mins. Small strange... More

There are only some weird pieces of "art" that any 2nd grader can create as well. Total waste of time and money.

I came away from Moma with more questions than answers. I didnt understand half the stuff that was on the walls or installations that took up so much space on the floor. If i didnt understand the hundreds of kids that milled around must have been baffled - and yet they seemed to understamd better than me! There are some... More

Go, go, go. There are Picassos here that I'd never seen. The museum entry fee is a bit pricey, but worth it. MOMA has an excellent Film Program.
