I have been here several times and it never fails me. I adore wandering around and exploring the grounds. The trees that are here are old and beautiful. You can almost picture gnomes or fairies living here quite happily. It is a great and peaceful place to visit when in town.

Came here for a day with the family, and really enjoyed ourselves. Quite a gorgeous place. Would highly recommend on an off day from the beach.

Nice way to spend an hour or two. Winding paths, beautiful gardens and statuary. If you like flowers you'll like this place!

This is like stepping back in time. I try and visit whenever I can. Their gift shop is great! You can also buy plants there to take home.

The gardens are very well maintained and offers a variety of areas to explore. We went in the early spring and there were plenty of flowers blooming. The fees are reasonable and the staff is very friendly.

Such a gorgeous place of peace and tranquility....beautiful flowers and flowering bushes/trees. A leisurely break, an area to stroll thru and enjoy the beauty of NC in the spring.

Lovely perennials and nice, shaded trails to wander in this arboretum styled trail of gardens. Worth the entry fee if you want a pastoral afternoon amongst lovely plants.

If you're a garden person, you'll enjoy a visit here. It's pretty, even in the off season when not all that many things are in bloom. Look for some unusual plants to buy too in their well-stocked garden shop.

Absolutely gorgeous! We have visited several times and even decided to have our wedding ceremony there. Take the walk through the sunken garden up to the overlook terrace...it'll take your breath away!
