I toured both caves, Mystic Cavern and Crystal Dome Cavern, Mystic Cavern is less strenuous, but still has about 150 steps. If you only have time to view one cave i suggest to visit Mystic. It has several very nice formations. Crystal Dome Cavern has some nice pure white formations but is more strenuous then Mystic. Be Aware the Caves... More

We took a weekend trip to float the buffalo but it was above flood level so they weren't putting in. To make up for our loss we all decided to visit this cave every one is talking about. When we arrived we were immediately rushed into a group. The staff was indifferent and the tour guide uttered complete maladroit remarks.... More

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your tour at Mystic Caverns. We do "rush" people to catch a tour that is leaving or has left within the last five minutes to prevent those people from having a long wait (35-50 minutes). It does usually take about an hour and a half to tour both of our caverns including... More

I had the pleasure of touring Mystic Caverns during a staff outing with my job. I work in the tourism industry and it is very important to be familiar with our area. The caves are beautiful and the entire staff was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. The items available in the gift shop are so unique and very affordable; I wanted... More

What an exceptional experience! We had so much fun touring the caves. Yeah that's right. I said caves! Just when you finish the first one there is a round 2. The story our tour guide who was also the owner made the already educational and scenic tour more entertaining. Here's a hint. Look out for that monkey! Thanks again for... More

First, the cavern is well worth seeing. Great mineralization is abundant. If you've never been in a cave this is a great cave.to start your spelunking experiences. Second, you get to see a second cavern as well --- Crystal Dome Cavern is a part of the the "experience". It has an 80-100 foot dome that is beautiful. Bring some opera... More

I was only able to tour one of the two caves here but I will be back for the second one soon. The overall look of the place may not seem as modern as your downtown strip malls but this place has been around a while. the history of the place is well described by the friendly staff. I was... More

We just got back from our trip, and as always I spend some time writing reviews because I base a lot of my travel plans on what I read on reviews, so I do my part. Luckily I chose this stop from another website and from reading the owners website, NOT from the reviews on here. I just read them... More

IF anyone post a positive feed back on this place it is the OWNERS!!!! The OWNER IS A UNFRIENDLY SMART MOUTH!!! YOU CLIMB OVER 100FEET AND HE DIDN'T TELL US UNTIL THE TOUR HAD ALREADY BEGAN!!! THERE ARE caves in the area that has a polite staff and you don't have to kill yourself climbing out of the hole!!! South... More

I think, from your review, that you toured our lower cavern Crystal Dome. We normally tell people before we leave the back porch of our gift shop to start down the hill to the entrance of the lower cavern that we will be going one hundred and ten feet down below the surface and that there is no elevator to... My husband and our 19 year old son took a last minute trip into north arkansas, (harrison) what an interesting/beautiful cavern! It's a wonderful value at $14.99 a person. They do offer children's and senior discounts. This is a great 30-40 minute tour, the guides are really amazing. They are genuine and knowledgeable. We had a nice visit, made a... More

At the beginning of the tour, our guide told us that the owners believe in the "young earth", meaning that the planet has existed for only 6000 years. So while the trip to these caves (there are actually two separate caverns included in the price of the tour) is enjoyable, you will not really learn much cave science behind the... More
