For any Elvis fan this is a must see. The house is original and the complex has been built around it, in it's original location. They have also included the Assembly of God church where a young Elvis used to sing. This is the original church, but has been moved from it's original location when it was purchased some years... I had the pleasure of visiting Tupelo two years ago, and I enjoyed my experience. At that time, Elvis’ cousin, Sybil Presley worked there and it was lovely to meet her as she is a lifelong Tupelo resident who grew up with Elvis. I spent some time loitering at the admission desk with the ladies that worked at the birthplace,... More

You can stroll the grounds which include a fountain, Elvis' birthplace home, his chapel, and a statue of him at 13 without paying any admission. You can also enter the gift shop without admission. Entering the wee house and the museum is a fee. Ample parking, washrooms on site, lots of shade and seating for reflection. Welcoming staff. A good... More

My sister is an Elvis fan and we went to Memphis to see Graceland and took a trip to Tupelo to see Elvis' birthplace. The film in the church was nice and walking the grounds was easy and relaxing.

The sign said it all. The Presley's bought their eleven year old son a guitar and gave millions the gift of music. I couldn't have said it better myself. From humble beginnings the world was provided a timeless story and gift.

Saw this as part of a day trip to tupelo covering all the sight in Tupelo linked with Elvis. The trip was run by CJC transportation tel 901 413 2062. The tour was amazing and I would highly recommend CJC transportation who ran the trip from Memphis. The birthplace itself is nice and peaceful and the house itself feels very... More

I am not really an Elvis fan, but my mom is. She wanted to go to Graceland, so we did a girl trip. tupelo was about a 1.5 hour drive from Memphis. I was expecting to see a one room house, but instead found a lovely park that had a lot of information to offer about Elvis's early years. There... More

OK I admit it, I only looked at the outside, but if you are willing to pay the fee, you can look at a museum and inside the birth home.
