We saw the Sunday matinee of BARK. It was wonderful. We loved the theatre and the staff. Would definately go back
We went to BARK the Musical last weekend and it was fantastic. We have been to theatres in San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles and really liked the acoustics at ACT and the feeling of intimacy. The stage production was superb and the whole cast was excellent. We are coming back!
Went to Bark the Musical and loved it. It is a wonderful place for community theatre and they have a great season coming up this year. They have beer and snacks at intermission, and and the theatre always seems to be full! I have attended many other events and plays there!
Our first time at ACT and we'll definitely return. Enjoyed the performance and the whole experience. Not a bad seat in the house. Good acoustics. Friendly staff. Parking's a bit of a challenge so leave a few extra minutes early. Can't wait for the next show!
Not sure what I was going to think, being from NYC and a theater snob.. but I was pleasantly surprised by the talent in this area. Definately worth a try if you haven't done so already.
I love the theatre! A non-professional theatre with amazing talent. The quality of the actors and plays have jumped two fold since 5 years ago. I have seen Hairsray and Oliver, both amazing shows. The prices are cheaper then other area theatres for better quality!
I've seen several plays at the Asheville Community Theatre. Most recently, Hairspray, by director Jerry Crouch. Jerry is a great director and has a flare for pulling everything together. Enjoy a night out at the ACT!
