Drive to Price Lake, it is a beautiful place to stop and eat, or just paddle the lake. Watch for snakes in late June early July in trees around lake. They want bother you, but don't paddle under the trees.

pretty, great overlooks, good roads, clean - too bad 1/3 of facilitites are closed due to sequestration

Very scenic and well maintained. Could spend days on the Parkway. Has may scenic overlooks and historic markers. Weather changes quickly so be prepared for all conditions.
