The vast majority of the park is under water so you need to snorkel if you come. Not only do you get to experience a wonderful reef, you get out on the water to see much of the park. We went to a nice patch reef off Elliot Key in 8-12 feet of water. Unlike Pennecamp the day before, this... More

The "Underwater" is an important part of the name. We went there just to spend the day near the water and go snorkeling but you can't really do this from the shore. So if you are going there plan to get on one of their boats (glass bottom boat was broken on our visit, so maybe call ahead) or rent... More

This less visited park has great facilities with boat trips, kayak rentals, and great things to see and do. We didn't allow enough time and will be back!

Took boat ride to a key not island then 1 mile more into ocean and snorkeled on 3 rd largest coral reef in world. Big waves. Way cool. Saw dolphins. We love our country and its national parks.

I booked the snorkeling trip for three and I was just going along to watch. My 13 year old son decided he didn't want to snorkel; so I asked if we could both be dropped off at Boca Chita Island instead. No problem. They also put the $10 diference between the the snorkeling trip and the Boca Chita trip toward... More

I love this park! I bring all my out of town friends and family here. I took the boat ride two weeks ago and really enjoyed it. This place is a gem not to be missed.

The crew of the catamaran we were on were great. The man who led us around the island was fun and knowledgable. A fun trip!

I had a great time kayaking! The view was beautiful and the paths through the mangroves make you feel like you're traveling down the amazon. The owners are very knowledge and a polite group of individuals who make you feel like family as soon as you arrive. Matthew helped set us up and let me tell you this is one... More

We did a half-day snorkelling trip on our way back from the Keys into Miami which was perfect. It's a beautiful boat ride to Boca Chita and then into the area where you snorkel. The visibility depends a little on the weather but you definitely see some good live coral and fish. The crew wa friendly and gave interesting background... More
