Just be advised - the walk to the base of the hill of Harpers Ferry does take you over steps, rocks. etc. Beautiful walk but be prepared for the terrain.

Nothing like it .Iconic.Many local people have hiked at least some portion of the trail a few have done it all. Often see people coming thru, feel part of a grand adventure.

Enjoyed walking through a small part of the trail, the guides were very helpful and the scenery was beautiful. The weather was perfect and I cannot wait to go back for a longer hike!
