This beach is like paradise. Calm warm waters to soak in. It never gets too deep unless you get close to the reef, but no need. You can also see some coral fishes.

I worked here for many years and, though I left a number of years ago, I will never forget this snorkeling experience. I worked at the hospital located on the cliff line overlooking Tumon and I used to go down to the beach next to the Hilton. I would snorkel all the way down hotel row to the very end,... More

The island's largest public park located in "Hotel Row". Huge park but need major clean-up. Government leaders and island residents should do something to keep this park cleaned and maintained. Festivals are held here and residents usually reserve a pavillion for weekend celebrations. Plenty outdoor play room but need cleaning. Would make an awesome tourist site if kept cleaner. Park... Went here multiple times on my visit. Plenty of parking, outside showers to rinse off after your snorkeling adventure, and I kid you not, it is indeed an adventure. The waters are soo calm here and you'll see a myriad of fish. Definitely a great way to spend an afternoon and explore some of the beauty the island has to... More

Easy parking, large field to play sports or have birthdays, canopies with grills, the beach is clean - lifeguard on duty. You can bring your dogs with a leash. My husband and I love to come here on weekends and sit under the coconut trees and let the breeze hit us while viewing the ocean. If you are stationed here... More

Snorkeling at Ypao is free. To see this much wildlife in other parts of the USA you WILL be charged an admission fee. At Ypao, its just expected. The Tumon area where Ypao is situated is sheltered from the Philippine Sea's surf by a coral reef line. So the surf inside the lagoon is calm under most conditions. Which makes... More

Love the deep water and plentiful fish near the coral heads. The picnic grounds aren't well kept.

The locals don't seem to appreciate their beaches...trash and especially beer cans and drunk people all over! ugh. I'll never come here again.

You can reserve one of the open sided buildings for not much money. It's good to have your friends and family to enjoy it with, cook out and not have to clean up at.home. Then go swim!
