One of the best beaches on Maui. We stayed acoss the street from here and the day we went the waves were very high so they cautioned anyone from going in. We sat in the chairs and watched the waves for about 40 minutes it was like a fireworks show with waves. Everyone was just ohhing and awing at the... More

We came to this beach once and refused to go to any others for the remainder of our trip. The surf on the first day was quite rough but it is such a fabulous people watching beach - watching people wipe out repeatedly from the close breaking waves entertained us all day (terrible, I know :) but even we joined... Excellent place to relax, sunbathe, take a swim and do snorkeling. You can see sea turtles in the place

Great beach! It is hard to find the access and parking is along the road. Trust your phone when you map it-it appears as if you are driving into a residential area. There is a shower but I didn't see any public restrms. The sand is nice but does get very hot. Snorkling is great and we saw numerous sea... More

This is a beautiful beach that you dream about. The sand is soft and lovely although it gets very hot. The water is so clear and not very deep. Also, there is a cove close by where you can snorkel and see hugh turtles. The outlet is hard to find and parking is limited but it is worth the effort... More

Nice beach. Great swimming. Was too choppy for us to snorkel but the swimming was great. Lovely sandy beach. Great for family.

It is a lovely little beach with a great view of Moloka'ai Island. Soft sand and warm water with brilliant easy snorkeling. We saw moray eels, puffer fish, parrot fish, angel fish, even Nemo...lol. If you time it right (7am and 3pm) there will be turtles coming in to feed and they will swim beside you, they even come into... More

If you travel to the West side of Maui then you should visit the Napili Beach in Lahaina. There is plenty to do in Lahaina. You can visit Historic Front Street in Lahaina and shop until you drop and visit some upscale restaurants and other local restaurants. All of the restaurants are great. I can say that because of the... More

We were there the last week of April 2013 and the beach was beautiful but the waves were to big for comfortable snorkeling. Coral in the area is trying to recover but struggling. A few pretty fish, visibility was down due to the surf action but got more clear further out from shore. As with all the beaches in this... More
