My husband and I spent 10 days in Maui and we visited beaches all over the Island. It's clean, clear and relaxing. We snorkel and I'm not a swimmer which made it even more amazing. This beach is a must see, must visit an must swim!
Great place to relax in the sun (or the shade). Eatery at the Sheraton was superb. There are also two great restaurants at Whaler's Village.
beautiful stretch of beach, great for families and honeymooners. very quiet. Close to restaurants and shopping.

We spent five nights at the Westin Villas on Kaanapali beach in April and have to say the beach sucked! If you walked half a mile...

There are a lot better beaches than this to enjoy unless you're the see and be seen type or afraid of leaving the hotel zone. Snorkeling is better in more secluded places and everywhere along here is overpriced to eat or shop. However, I imagine that if you're a teenaged girl traveling with her parents this would be the place...
