This was the best whale watch I have ever been on and I have been on many in various places. Riding in the raft boat, close to the water makes you feel so much more connected to the whales. BE PREPARED TO GET WET THOUGH. It was the end of whale season but we still saw humpback whales. First a... More

We have whatched whales and snorkeled in many countries and with many naturalists but "Ultimate" and especially Ryan and Noni are the Best. They are passionate about what they do, they really know their subject and they love sharing their knowledge. If you can only do one trip do it with these folks. If you can do six trips...........do 'em... More

We were told that Ultimate Whale Watch was the place to go and boy were they right! Rachel and Lindsay werent just fun but informative as well. Their vast knowledge of whales as well as the ocean was impressive. From the time we got out into the open water we were headed straight for the whales. We found a mom,... More

This was another item listed on my Bucket List and I can now mark it off. It was spectacular! We saw whales from the moment we got on the tender and continued to see them about 90% of the time. It was really worth the expense, which wasn't all that much. Just remember you sunscreen because several people didn't and... More

We were drawn to Ultimate Whale Watch with their small boat. Their boat holds 18 vs. other companies that hold 100+. The boat ride was fun & energetic. We were able to see many whales even at the end of the whale watching season. Our tour guides were fun & very knowledgeable about the whales. The boat has a hydrophone... More

There are many to choose from. This one is local, the boat fits only about 20 people as opposed to the others with a crowded 100 people. The guarantee to see whales or your money back. That wasn't just it though! The crew was fantastic! Funny! Informative! They made the trip. We were able to see a baby, mama and... More

The crew was amazing! The tour incredible! You can learn so much from how these whales live and migrate to and from Alaska. It was not too long or too short. Just perfect.

Wonderful experience even with small kids. Their boats are small - only 18 people - so great personal experience. The drivers (2 young girls) were so experienced and enthusiastic about teaching everyone about whales and really into finding the whales in the ocean. Would recommend this anytime!!

I am so glad we didn't go on one of the other boats for our whale watching excursion! Although a bit skeptical of our 18 person Zodiac, my daughter and I had so much fun! Captain Ryan and First Mate Rachel were outstanding and extremely knowledgeable. Even though we were on the tail end of the season, we were lucky... More
