If you are like me that ever wondered how scientists can tell us exactly what dinosaurs looked like, how they lived, how big they were and even trace the evolution of mankind by looking into our ancient past then the Dinosaur Museum is the place to visit. They have many real fossils and they have a very good honest display.... More

For Wyoming and for Dinosaur lovers, this was a neat experience. It's on the spendy side (10 dollars per person) if you compare it to the Seattle Science Center, etc. If you read ALL of the descriptive info, you could easily spend a few hours. We were there for just over an hour. They had a small, yet well stocked,... More

Well worth the price of admission. A massive collection of dinasaurs and archeological finds. You can actually schedule a dig while in Thermopolis. It is an incredibly fascinating place of interest for all ages! Don't miss the full scale dinasaur displays that occupy the entire length of the museum. More

It was it a barn on the top of a hill we were discouraged about it at first. Once you got inside it was a first rate museum. Lots of help lots of facts and the most important lots of Dinosaurs, I truly believe that you will not find more in any one place. For the cost and the drive... More

The museum is set up so you can go from the 'oldest' part of history to the 'more recdent' (aka dinosaurs) you can learn about all the fossils that were found in the area and what sort of animal they came from. The have great displays throughout the museum. Their dinosaur room is massive and has some very complete skeletons.... More

Although the exterior of the museum looks like a warehouse, the interior is transformed into an interesting museum. We liked the exhibits and informative plaques. The only bad thing was there appeared to be some moving going on in the office above the exhibits and we could hear alot of noise and some swearing. More
