This museum is filled with visual historical information about the land and settlers. Takes you back in time to experience the hot springs from the native americans and settlers perspective. More

Lots to see on two floors in main building. Pioneer buildings with historical contents across the road. Plan at least two hours. More

Why shell out good money for the tourist trap museum in Cody when you can see more and better artifacts here for just a few dollars? A very wide range of items are on display from indian artifacts to fossils and a recreated town in the basement. Across the street you can walk through an old schoolhouse and train caboose.... More

This is advertised as one of the greatest small museums around, and I have to agree. There is a very wide breadth of artifacts on display, and it gives a good sense of what the old west might have looked like, even felt like. The downstairs is the highlight, there is a simulated bank, dentist, barbershop, doctor office, photographer's studio,... More
