My wife and I visited this Wyoming state park after visiting the Fetterman Massacre Memorial just up the road. The site is well tended and the outlines of the old fort have been recreated along with helpful placards that describe various parts of the old fort. A small section of the fort's fencing with a pallisade has also been recreated...

If you are interested in local history this is worth a quick stop. Lady in the visitors centre was very helpful. There is a short video you can watch in the visitors centre. Look out for the indians and cavalry on the surrounding hills.
