This is a great area to look for the 399 and her cubs. They like to hang out here at times. Even if the bears are not around, it's a pretty area to hike around and seems to attract a fair amount of wildlife.

Probably one of the most photographed places around, especially in the Tetons, magnificent view and good area for animal viewing. Saw beaver and a grizzly on our stay.

The colors and views from Oxbow Bend are superior. Best bet is to go in the early hours as the colors and the view of the Tetons are at their best.

Again, get there early for sunrises and sunsets else you're going to have fifty people, their tripods, and monster lenses in your pictures. Iconic place though, seen it 1000 times and it never gets old. The paths (or lack thereof) have been worn down over the years so it can be tricky to get down to the water so be... More

This was a beautifuyl drive as we were coming back from Jackson Lake Lodge. You just can't believe the beauty of nature. Some times you just have to stop the car and get out and stare.

We liked the park rangers talk - quite a storyteller! This is a beautiful location and the ranger had a spotting scope set up. The moose and bear did not cooperate with us that evening.

As an amateur photographer, I love this location. Any time of the year, no mattter what the weather, it seems it's just impossible to take a bad photograph.

I went out to Oxbow Bend before daylight to join all the other photo geaks striving to capture that perfect shot of the sunrise on the Teton Mountains. It's a truly beautiful and amazing location, especially during the early morning hours. While here I was also able to photograph a cow moose wading in the river. An awesome scene. And,... More
