It's fun if you like rodeos. Lots of people, food and fun. Worth a trip to Cheyenne for CFD. We have been going for years.

Something to do every day. We spent 5 days there and had a great time. Really enjoyed the events, especially the bull riding.
try and time your visit for the last week of July because the 'Daddy of em all' lives up to its reputation. We had never been to a Rodeo before but really enjoyed this display of athleticism and brute force. Lots of skill on display and something for everyone.

Had lots to do and food everywhere. It is really the grandaddy of them all. Lots of tradesman selling their western gear. Will go back next year and take my time shopping. Would really like to see the entirety of the Chuckwagon cook off.

For rodeo enthusiasts, if your vacation brings you to Cheyenne the last full week in July this would be a must. There are rodeos everyday, beginning at 12:15. You can also see Slack Time events free of charge. You might want to... More
