The tubing trip is a tradition in my family and group of friends, and I make sure to go at least once a year. You can bring your own cooler filled with snacks and beverages and take it on the river. They also have cooler tubes available for rent so you don't need to lap your cooler the whole time....

My parents and I went back to WRT after more than a decade. When my siblings were smaller we'd take canoe trips down the Wolf River on our own, and tubed through WRT. Wife and I went with another couple for the 3rd year in a row. The campground is really nice and fun (all though it can get very rowdy on the weekends). Camping on the river sites are best, but lots of other good sites off the river are also available. The tubing is really fun for a lazy float down...

This tubing trip starts out at the Wolf River Campground on the outskirts of New London, Wisconsin. After parking your vehicle you walk down toward the river and there's a large building with a bar/ restaurant upstairs and a gift shop/ game area downstairs.
