Very nice zoo with lots of great exhibits. Kids enjoyed the special sting ray and shark exhibit. There are several special activities that you can choose to do. Camel rides, a ropes type course,a sky safari (ski chair lift), a safari train all provide nice breaks from walking around if kids get tired. You can bring in your own food... More

I've been to zoos all over the country (including San Diego) and still have a soft spot for the Milwaukee County Zoo. They have a huge variety of animals (from fish, to monkeys, to giraffes and large cats) and it's always very well kept. Their concessions are reasonably priced, which is good, because it costs almost $40 to get in... More

I've been to many zoos, but this was one of my favorites. We drove 6 hours to take my four year old granddaughter and were not disappointed. We were able to feed giraffes, touch stingrays, enjoy a sea lion/seal show, ride ponies, see all sorts of animals. The zoo was clean, the exhibits well maintained, and reasonably priced. Great day!... More

This is a very nice zoo that offers something for everyone. Besides the learning centers and pavilions you can take a train ride around the zoo, gondola ride above the zoo and even zip-line.

We went in the middle of the day so alot of the animals very sleeping or very lethargic. I thought it was a little pricey- $40 for two adults+ parking. Just an average zoo.

We spent the day at the zoo today and had a blast. The line to get in and park was long but once you're in, there's no more lines to deal with unless you want food or souvenirs. There are a wide variety of animals and it was clean and very well maintained. Got to see the baby jaguars and... More

The Milwaukee zoo does what it does: It shows all the animals and many exhibits. But it's just not worth the money. There are some zoos more exciting than this one that offers you free admission.

We went on a rainy day, but still enjoyed ourselves. Had many animals our zoo doesn't have so we really enjoyed seeing them. It appears that it is a little older zoo, but made for a nice day, even with the rain.

Nice zoo with grouped layouts so that the antelope are in front and the lions are behind in natural settings where they don't appear separated. Gets crowded early on a nice weekend.
