We recently spent a relaxing afternoon sitting by Lake Geneva - walking out to the light house ( small fee ) - and sitting by the calm water eating our sandwiches was most enjoyable especially with children.

Boating on a weekday during the Summer is great! No crowds; you can move around easily, or just park and drift.
Geneva Lake is close to the NW Suburban area of Chicago where I live, pretty clean, and has lots of wonderful old mansions to gawk at. Lots of parking in town - $1 and hour, plus some free lots.

Parking meters can be renewed so get there early. We went when it was chilly and not many tourists as of...

Had a wonderful time at The Cove of Lake Geneva. It's a wonderful place to relax and have fun. It's the most convenient place to stay in Lake Geneva. It has just about anything you could want and it's close to everything! everything you could want and is close to everything!
I visited here for work and really fell in love with the place. Take a stroll along the beach downtown and enjoy a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants. The water is crystal clear and very inviting. If you are in the area, this is worth a visit!
Lot's of unique specialty shops. If you like to dress one of a kind scheik you need to shop the boutiques. The fabulous lakeside architecture from century old to recent construction can be breathtaking!

There are fine dining and casual restaurants. There are local shops and great activities. We live in Chicago and...
