If you have ever wanted home made candy this is the place to go. Sundae's to make your mouth water as they make them, soda's from the fountain and the best chocolate (lite and dark) dipped caramels that melt in your mouth. Love Food is the best I have ever eaten. This little sweet shop is nearly exactly as it was when it opened back in the 1920s. All the ice cream is still homemade, the same way it was back then! And all the chocolates are handmade--divine. The Sweet Shop has been in business for at least 5 generations. Little has changed in this small quaint store. Homemade ice cream and candies continue to be made in the very same way. This technique makes the best cones, sundaes, shakes, and malts. Each homemade, hand dipped chocolate tastes heavenly. Love food and anise suckers have been seasonal favorites...
