This is a very good place to stop and try a glass of wine. Yes there are bigger and fancier places but the people here are great, friendly, will answer your questions. The wine wines are very good too. The tastings are free, we normally go to wineries in NC and VA and pay $5-10 a tasting,I will say these... More

This was first time visiting a winery and I loved it. I was helped by Bob who was very knowledgeable and friendly. All the wines I tried were great and the area was really beautiful. I'm looking forward to coming back this summer and touring the winery on a nice day.

I was very disappointed with the customer service here. They were not to be bothered. I guess reading the newspaper was more important than customers. This is the worst "winery" I have ever step foot into. We didn't even make it past the gift shop. We were not greeted or asked to try any of the wines. I will not... More

I really enjoy traveling around and trying different wines. I went to forks of cheat and wow! Bob, the customer service rep, was absolutely fantastic!! He was very knowledgeable and suggested my new favorite west Virginia wine! Not only do they offer sweet wines but a wide variety including an amazing Merlot!! If you find yourself in Morgantown and needing... More

I visit the winery last weekend, for the second time. The first time was with my husband and the customer service was terrible, I vowed never to return. An out of town friend visited and wanted to check it out, so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe last time I went was just an "off... More

The atmosphere at this place is not bad. Cute little store, nice deck to sit on. The wine, however...well...let's just say that if you like the taste of really good wine, this isn't the place for you. If you're more a fan of syrupy sweet, not very wine-like wines then you'll do just fine here.

Such a unique type of attraction to regular Morgantown area! They have a very cute store to shop around in, the employees are so welcoming and you can try any and every type of wine/moonshine/rum/whiskey they have! You can even ask for a free tour of their place and how the wine-making process works. Grab a bottle (or two) of... More

My husband and I have never been to the winery, but have attended Winefest in OCMD, where Forks Of Cheat Winery does tastings. Years ago I bought some of their blackberry wine and loved it. I went through what I bought and was disappointed that I couldn't find any locally. I have since tried a few other blackberry wines and... More
