We held a birthday party at PPP1 Kitchen / Covered Picnic area next to Rose Garden.
It was very clean, it had 6 electrical outlets, working sink, 6 tables in covered area, 6 outside tables. It has a small grill, but huge griddle. The bathrooms were nearby and very clean, it also had a near by double swing. It has...

This is a great place for picnics and to bring the family. The walk down to the bay is easy. The picnic benches are surrounded by large trees so a light jacket or sweatshirt may be necessary.
Love to hike this park. It's not huge but it has great topography, Beach, Woods and hills. There are Picnic / Meeting Shelters there that we have used in the past as well as a meeting room neat the Rose Garden. Lovely Park!

There's multiple parking areas, all with great trails from them. Nice play area for the kids, and shelters for alfresco dining....also open area for some frisbee or the like.

You can hike the many trails, sit and enjoy the rose garden, join the children in the play area or have a picnic. I always enjoy a hike down to the sound where you can sit and watch the boats and the children exploring the shore.
Came here a couple years ago, found drug paraphenalia on the ground, condoms, then the druggies! Beautiful park, left my dog in the car to protect it while in the John. Needed more cop patrol!!!!
This appears to be one of the best kept secrets in the Olympia area. The park is underutilized during the weekdays and is one of the most beautiful places you can visit. It's free and you can stroll through the vast evergreens or walk on the beach. There are many picnic areas with facilities to cook your meals or just...
