Stuffed with WWI and WWII vintage planes (most in working order), including many from Germany, this museum was a very informative and interesting attraction - especially when one considers this was all done by private efforts.

They had a "Mosquito" plane my dad and husband were excited about, I just thought they had some beautiful buildings, w/ some cool WWI and II planes in them. Well worth the time and $$
Loved it. The volunteers are exceptional. Ask for Frank Roberts to take you around. He is a wonderful tour guide. Was fabulous. Can't say enough about it.
If you are into the Warbirds, you have to go...it's a bit off the beach, but worth it. ....beautifully restored planes, and they all are flyable.
This museum has a wonderful collection of WWI and WWII planes as well as other planes and vehicles. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and loves to talk about their airplanes and the history behind them.

Very impressed with the collection, much larger than I expected. Seeing the Avro mosquito fire up its engines was a great. The volunteers were very helpful.

My wife and i spent 2-1/2 hours here and really ejoyed it. You can go at your own pace and you can enjoy it rather your into planes, war history or neither.
I do enjoy history and found the hangers with the wwi and wwii planes the best. I can see from other reviews that others agree also.
Cost $10...

An amazing private collection of WWI and WWII aircraft. Great volunteers with lots of information and answers. My husband and I spent 2 - 3 hours and will go back. Don't think you will be disappointed.
This is a private collection of WW I and II planes and associated equipment. The volunteers that run the place are a hoot; all extremely knowledgable and some of them actually flew these types of planes. All of the planes are taken out and flown annually; there's a hangar of mechanics fixing up new acquisitions. One of the hangars was...
