I worked and liked it very much, I liked being the train engineer there, they have great animals, this zoo is in the best area, on top of a mountain, great views from the top of the Roanoke Valley.

This was an ok stop, but wouldn't go out of my way for it. The star is quite visible at night when lit and it really makes you want to see it's location.

Easy to get to. Once there, the view is fantastic, especially on a clear day. Rest rooms are close by, plus the Mill Mountain Zoo is within walking distance.
