Great selection of places to eat. Love the cinema. Like to watch the skiers but have never tried it - I think it is expensive.
I live in Castleford so have the good luck to have Xscape on my doorstep. I make full use of the bars and restaurants but must make a special mention of the soft play area where I take my three grandaughters whenever the weather is poor. It's a God send and gives them somewhere to blow off steam. It's really... More
In principle, ski academy sounded great, and we expected teething problems with a new system. However, why are there problems 10 weeks in? There has been little consistency of instructor, classes do are taken by youngsters who stick to the same-old-same-old and little progress is being made by either child! Children are bored & not having fun. There is no... More
A group of us visit Xscape every few weeks to go snowboarding and usually eat out too, cant recommended this place enough!
Xscape is a great place to visit but we booked a birthday party for 14 seven year olds in the snowzone the slope they enjoyed but when it came to going to the room for the food it was something else, the host was very young and had no idea if left to her the food would have been cold... More
I visit Xscape mainly for the Cineworld Multiplex. Rates highly in comparison to other similar venues in driving distance. Xscape has a number of attractions including Laserzone, which is enjoyable for kids big and small, a soft - play area and mini golf in themed, glow in the dark, areas, a climbing wall, all of which I've had some experience.... If you want to improve your skiing this is the way to do it. Julie the instructor is fantastic, she has improved my skiing and confidence tremendously, whilst making each session fun. It is a very relaxed and informal evening, Julie caters for all ability levels, giving instruction or just technical tips if that is just what you want. Give... More
Snozone at Xscape for first time skiers is a must visit venue, just to see if you are going to take to it or not, better than wasting money and leave for a skiing holiday. Various lesson options available reasonably priced especially throughout the summer. I was not happy after my second lesson but when discussed with the ski school... More
This is our local entertainment venue and there is always something to do. For visitors from further afield we hear The Tulip is a cheap and good place to stay and right next to xscape. Locals go to xscape before going on train to Leeds for afternoon befor getting the Drunk Train home for more drinks at Xscape.
