Pricey and overated. The tour was boring and very matter of fact, not what we thought. Would not go again
We didn't know what to expect but for $3 per person, we were hoping for more than a glance through a window pane. And we did get more, much more. Very interesting tour which takes you through the many processes required to assemble a teddy bear. Even the kids in our tour group liked it. The tour guide was excellent... More
The tour was too short and the guide was not informative enough to make us want to stay. We left quickly. The bears are wonderful thought and worth the money.
Although the tour was interesting and our guide, Anthony, was entertaining, the $6 fee was too much for this tour, especially if you have kids & they want a bear after the tour.
We all know the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory Tour is a great marketing scheme - but it's really fun too! Alex, our tour guide, was very entertaining. And everybody got a teddy bear pin to wear home. Of course you know you will buy a teddy bear, but they have small bears for only $30 and that was enough to... More
...but be prepared to be asked for a $40+ bear. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but it was an acceptable way to spend 2 hours on a rainy day. The lady who gave our tour tried way too hard to engage the adults, and as a result, the kids were bored in about 10 minutes.... More
Upon deciding to go to Vermont,my girlfriends first question was are we going to be anywhere near The Vermont Teddybear Factory. The answer being yes we stopped. The tour was cute and to our surprise they had a special promotion. After 57 years she finally got her childhood dream and a second one for her future daughter in law. It just... More
Bears are high quality but overpriced. Of course the kids wanted one but couldn't justify spending $70+ on a bear. They used to have custom made bears but no longer do this. Build-a-bear is better for young kids.
I don't really know what people expect from a tour like this. If you have no interest in the construction of teddy bears, you probably shouldn't be touring a teddy bear factory. Similarly, I would avoid touring an auto factory if you have no interest in how cars are made. Our tour guide was very well informed about how the... More
This place is really cute for kids, and parents. The tour is very cute, get to go through the factory where the Teddy bears are made. They make it funny. The Teddy bears are not cheap, but they stand behind them 100%, so this is a lifetime teddy bear for your child. We bought one for each of our daughters... More
