On a recent RV trip around the NE states, we stumbled across this delightful farmstand en route to the King Arthur Flour and Bakery School in Norwich, VT. The array of fresh, colorful vegies was a visual treat. Being Fall, there was also a great variety of gourds and pumpkins to choose from and the ladies behind the counter were... More

Killdeer is great for fresh local veges, meats, and baked goodies. And it's right next door to the King Arthur Flour store--another great place.

This is a wonderful little farmers market. They have a shelf of some amazing pickles, beets, spicy, dill, ect. They also have amazing produce and some beautiful flowers (and now in the fall pumpkins). They close at 6:00 pm which is normally after I get done with work, so on the weekends I make sure to stock up! It's always... More

One of my favorite farm stands in the Upper Valley. In addition to a wide variety of plants, there is a wonderful selection of locally grown vegetables. In the fall, an excellent selection of heirloom apples! In addition, they carry local Vermont cheeses and meats.

Killdeer Farm has two locations, one has a farmstand and a small greenhouse the other has several huge greenhouses. Both are worth a visit.

This is what a local farmstand should be -- fresh organic products, all the produce is grown by them and the other products they sell are produced locally, often in coordination with them (e.g., Stafford Creamery's strawberry ice cream is made with Kildeer's organic strawberries). Friendly staff, a flexible CSA, fresh, quality seasonal procuce. I've yet to go wrong with... More

This is such a fabulous little place. If you are a localvore and you are local, so is everything sold here including their own organic vegetables and strawberries. If you aren't local (I found it through a class at King Arthur Flour next door) it's worth a stop for fresh wonderful food. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable... More
