A couple of friends and I came here on the 12 or 13th of may. We got to tour an open house. Very modern clean lines.a beautiful home. I felt such a beautiful energy. Though it was sold I felt like it could have been mine. So beautifully done I loved it. The gallerys were all great and I bought... More

Although I cannot imagine living there, visiting Kayenta was a unique experience and I am glad to have seen it. The dwellings and shops are arranged so as to blend into the surroundings and not detract from the natural beauty and amazing views from the area. Personally, I'd be too concerned about coyotes and other such animals if I lived... More

We had some time before heading to Vegas for a flight so stopped by the village shops here. It was around 5pm and the restaurant was just closing. We went to a few art galleries and enjoyed looking around. I suppose it is busier on weekends but there was no one there but us! Gave us some time to chat... More

We road bikes from Red Mountain Resort and Spa to Kayenta to check out the art galleries and see the community. It is a beautiful ride...a bit uphill but not that difficult if you are in decent shape. The homes in the area are gorgeous. The village center consists mostly of art galleries and restaurants. The artwork is lovely and... More

Heard that Kayenta was a high dollar area with fancy shops and restaurants. Most of the shops are art-based and if you like art I suppose you might like it. For people like me, it was a disappointment and did not stop to eat as there as there was only one restaurant, maybe two.

We toured an open house and got a good idea of what it would be like to live here. Great view of red cliffs. Modern homes. Pretty upscale, mostly because of the view. Coyote Gulch had lots of expensive art and the restaurant was good, but a bit pricy.

Gorgeous scenery, lovely objets d' art, incredible coffee and nice, down to earth staff. My only complaint would be that there aren't enough shops to spend the entire afternoon. I purchased a couple pieces of jewelry at what I think are very reasonable prices for one of a kind pieces. Even in the shops where I didn't spend money, I... More

What a beautiful place, very relaxing and unusual desert scenery. The shopping area has a wonderful cafe and some very nice art stores. This is a great place to have some coffee and look thru the stores. The art festival is in October and it is really good.

Beautiful scenic location hidden at the base of Red Mountain. Several small shops to visit. Always a treat to see what's new.

The area is very scenic. But we like to visit the artist gallery community up there. They also have the occasional festival. I can't say that i've ever bought anything but it's a nice looksy.
