A great park to take your little ones to the beach. It is close to town and no huge waves to knock your little ones around. Very clean and lots of bathrooms and showers and picnic pavilions.

Did not go in the water because I saw jellyfish on the beach but it was nice just walking along it and then going out on the jetty. There was a wind festival and there were lots of kites.
Love this beach, especially for little kids. There really aren't waves and you can walk out into the water a pretty good distance before it gets deep. My kids love to walk in the shallow water and look for hermit crabs (which we let go again) and other animals. They keep the beach and bathrooms clean. If you have older...

There were jelly fish at our visit, but not the kind that sting. We actually had fun holding them. Great bathroom and changing rooms. Showers to...

nice small little local beach, not crowded. Advise: dont feed the gulls they will never leave you alone.

Great snow cone trailer is often there on the nice days. Beach is shallow on the south side which is perfect for the younger kids. Salt Water...
