Awesome! They are friendly, easy going, fast at getting you out on the river. No matter if the river is slow or running good, the Guadalupe river is always FUN! Jump on in, apply lots of sunscreen, take beer & water, HAT is a must, and just lay back and relax. If you are alittle overweight beware, you will be... More

A must do at some point during your time in central Texas. Air/Water temps around memorial day tend to be the best. By labor day it's almost too hot.

We rented from Tube Haus, where the employee, Ryan, was very friendly and helpful. However, only the "horseshoe" part of the river in Canyon Lake (no can ban!) was open due to low river levels. So, only a 2.5 hr trip was available.

We love floating the Guadalupe River. It's inter tubes as far as you can see. Tons of people float the river. Make sure you rent an extra tube for a cooler. You need plenty of fluids and lots of sun screen. Make sure you reapply the sunscreen often. There are only so many places that you can get off the... More

We biked along the river road (on a week day in March) and it was quiet, traffic-free and pretty. The view is slightly marred by all the barbed-wire fencing to keep the hordes of summer weekend visitors off the private property along the river. I would not try to ride this road during the "toobing" season. From the many commercial... More

The things to do along the Guadalupe River are the fun parts, including Bubba's Back Deck. I was surprised to see a littlle waterfalls, too. It's a pretty view from many fun spots to visit.

No matter if the river is slow or running good, the Guadalupe river is always a good time. I would not bring your kids on certain parts of the river for a couple of reasons. One, some parts of the river have fast currents and rapids. Ask the person you are making reservations with about kids going down the river... More

Your view will depend entirely on what you are looking for. If it is a relatively warm, clear, calm ride that you are looking for then, the Guadalupe is not for you. If you want to bring down your body temp pretty quickly and don't mind a few scrapes and scratches from a random "fall" or a slick rock then,... More

We go to New Braunfels at least once a year. We always float the Comal. The difference in the 2 rivers is very obvious. The Comal is much cleaner and clearer. The Guadalupe always has moss and weeds floating in it. Its a grn/brown hue and the rocks are very mossy and slippery. The comal is much better.
