Walking trails, beautiful trees, a spring-fed lake, fishing, swimming at Landa Pool in the summer. This is a lovely city park that's well maintained and much loved.
I live nearby so I'm a bit biased, but the little train, duck pond, swimming pools, playground, hiking trails, picnic areas, mini golf, bumper boats are all definite draws to this family friendly park.
I lived in New Braunfels for only one year in 2010-11. We took our 5 year old to Landa Park almost everyday because there are a lot of cool play areas plus the park is big for walking, riding a bike, or just finding a quiet place. In the summer they have a big pool and a small wading pool... More
Never overly crowded. Great train ride throughout park. Fun to feed ducks & squirrels. Don't forget to bring bread! Picnic tables available, fun play grounds, huge trees, wading in spring fed pools, plus a HUGE spring fed swimming pool.
This park has huge playgrounds, a swimming pool, a train, and lots of river front access for feeding the ducks or just enjoying a picnic. The kids love going here and so do we
We just got back from Wurstfest. It was fantastic! Yes you will see lots of crazy people but the place is huge, the water is crystal clear and it's very clean. We had a great time @ Landa Park!

First, they usually involve drunks and disorderlies. Grant it we were there early and people were guzzling the booze but no one was unruly and the gathering... More
We have been to Landa Park hundreds of times throughout the years and have always found it to be filled with beauty and relaxation. The park has significant historical significant to the founding of the city of New Braunfels and even prior as a meeting ground for Native American Tribes. We so enjoy going to Wurstfest every year and hearing... More
We went to the aquatic center at Landa Park and my kids really enjoyed it. To me, there is not much to do, a big slide in the "deep" part of the water and a smaller one in shallow water for the kids who can't swim. There is a little pool for the really little kids also. There is also... More
Landa Parks is a beautiful and relaxing place. The Comal Springs and the start of the Comal River are gorgeous. Picnic areas are plentiful and a small train runs on most weekends. Near the Comal Springs is a nature trail into Panther Canyon. I only rated Landa Park "Very Good" instead of "Excellent" for two reasons. First, some of the... More
