Enjoyed looking at the artwork on display. My daughter especially enjoyed the fluorescent minerals display in a small room. There's no admission fee.
The Center has several sizeable galleries with temporary exhibitions. When we were there in late March 2013, there were two very interesting shows. We visited this Center with my wife during a short trip to Kerrville. We found that the facilities were much more than what we expected. The exibition was presented professionaly and the information desk and the voluteer in charge were very polite and good informed.
This arts center is located in the heart of downtown Kerrville in a former post office. Loved the variety in 2 and 3 dimensional pieces plus the "black light" exhibit room. Good gift shop, bathrooms, and cool air conditioning, too. Free, but donations accepted, and well worth it. Open Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm; Sunday 1 - 4 pm.
There is always a new exhibit going on at the Kerr Arts & Cultural Center, so it bears a repeat visit if you've been there before.
