Very nice 1.25 hour tour. Interesting guided tour of the house and its history of the current and previous owners. We tried our best to see a ghost but as they say, ghost do not come out on command. More

I first toured The Grove some 10 years ago. Then two years ago went back with 5 other lady friends and toured again. I'm a big fan of the Grovezine also. Love love love this home, and Mitchel is a wonderful host. I have also read several of his books. If your interested in ghost stories he can sure tell... More

We go to Jefferson at least once a year (usually with a group of friends) and we always make time to visit The Grove and hear Mitchel's stories. I highly recommend Jefferson and The Grove for a fun and relaxing time. More

I first visited the Grove in 2006. Mitchel provides a great tour of the house. This is the house that kicked off my hobby of being an amateur ghost hunter. He told us about a group of ghost hunters that wanted to investigate the house at midnight (which is unnecessary since the ghosts are not bothered by daylight). To keep... More

Our host, the owner of the house, was very informative. The ghost stories were great! The house is very nicely done to fit the stories and era. More

This is a tour of couple's real home - he is a writer, she a school administrator. The stories about the spirit activity were fun and absolutely believable. Mitchell was entertaining and very welcoming as we wandered through their home. Definitely want to take the tour again next trip! Cost was very modest ($5-6) and the tour lasted almost an... More

My wife and I visited The Grove in March of 2012. We did it as an afterthought of going to Jefferson to stay in a B&B but it would have been worth the trip all by itself! Mitchell is enthusiastic, and even though i am sure he has given countless tours, none of it seemed laborious or forced. He seemed... More

I have been on the tour of the Grove several times. I never get tired of hearing Mitchel tell the stories of the house, and the town. The home is beautiful!! I havnt encountered a ghost there (yet), but do have a problem with my camera batteries rapidly draining as soon as I enter the house. Mitchel also has his... More

There are several house tours in Jefferson now, all unique and interesting, but The Grove is the one to do if you only have a short time to visit Jefferson. This was my 5th trip to Jefferson, but only the first time I actually had time to visit The Grove. I wish I'd made the time before now. So welcoming,... More
