Sound was GREAT! Weather was nice and seats were excellent! The production was really enjoyable despite the necessary subtitles above since I don't know Italian.

I would recommend Miller outdoor theater. They have some decent shows and it's a great place to go on a budget. There will be traffic for most events if the weather is nice so arrive early to get the closest spots on the hill. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy.

I have really hard time choosing what to mention first. Probably it is the variety of the events at Miller: you can see Houston Opera and Ballet, or Latin American Dancing by native performers, or just a movie - whatever you like. Secondly, it is absolutely free unless you want to sacrifice the option of having a picnic at the... More

Hi I have visited several times. I love this place because you can enjoy outdoors with family and friends. Plan a picnic or outdoor activities. Great place to see FREE shows.

Did anyone else remember that the climate in Houston does't lend itself to many outdoor events? We have a great time for outdoor fun and it comes in February and lasts for about 15 minutes, then we all go back inside!

I love to go to Miller for outdoor shows. If you get there early, you can get good parking and seating. They always have interesting shows including dance and music. The best part is that you bring your own food and drink (including alcohol) as long as it's not in a glass container.

If the weather is right it's wonderful. But so often it's too hot & humid to enjoy anything. Tends to be super overcrowded especially the free events. For a few days in Spring and Fall it's comfy though. Decent acoustics, in Hermann Park area.

We love the Miller Outdoor Theatre and over the past year, since we discovered it, we have been to musicals, ballet, plays, and concerts there. I like the fact that you can choose to get tickets in advance or sit on the grass overlooking the stage. The best thing is that it is FREE! Yes, it can get hot in... More

This is a great venue for outdoor theater....and better yet because it is free. They do have chairs that you need a ticket for. You just stop by the box office to request the FREE ticket. The seats are in a covered pavilion that houses the lighting structure as well as two large ceiling fans. About 5 minutes before the... More
