You cannot go wrong with any seat in this intimate theater. My wife and I showed up for will call tickets a neighbor gave us---but it was for a show a week earlier. Courteous manager confirmed seats never used, and got us last available seats-- what a delight--even in last row, we were close to the action.

My husband & I go here on a regular basis as it has easy access & is close to home. The productions are varied, reasonably priced & we particularly enjoyed The Mountaintop. On one occasion I needed to change a booking date & the phone staff were extremely helpful. I wish everything could be so easy. The theatre itself is... More

I went to Alley a few times. Last December we went for the "Santaland diaries" with Todd Waite. It was amazing. Before that we were to the "Seagull" which did not impress much. But the theater itself is nice (not because of impressive interiors but because of atmosphere). So we always enjoy out time there. If you have a spare... More

I tired of writing this crap. It's the best, but a big city ought to have four or five such theaters.

Great place to see a play. Intimate setting. Very nice. Great selection of plays. Just wish we had time to attend more often.

Saw 'A Few Good Men' which I have seen the movie multiple times. Play almost as good - great acting and story. Nice theatre and able to get second row seats a week before the show.

I have taken in 3 different shows so far at the Alley Theatre, all of them from the "Summer Chills" lineup. I have yet to be even slightly disappointed. I have seen at lease one prior reviewer note that there is not a bad seat in the house, and I would have to say that while I agree, I also... More

I love to go to the Alley. The twist they put on productions is awesome. One of my favorites they do is A Christmas Carol.

I won free tickets to a musical here and we were able to go the cocktail party before the play started. They cocktail party was great, I believe they do it on a special nights before the show, maybe when it premiers? I saw Toxic Avenger and it had the runner up from American Idol in it, a great singer,... More

The Alley offer about ten works each year, on a large stage and in a theatre in the round. Mostly dramas, some comedy, thrillers and classics. A varied combination of old and new works performed primarily by the repertory company. If you have moved to Houston check it out.
