I played the Grapevine Municipal Golf Course on a Saturday afternoon in early January. I had the afternoon free before the start of a professional society conference, so decided to take advantage of the nice weather (such a nice change from the wintery weather in Cleveland!). I was staying at the Gaylord Texan, which was only a few miles away... More

Grapevine is my course of choice for 9 hole golf. The 3 courses are all well maintained with good geography. Nothing too challenging but a nice outing. I have found it is normally fairly easy to get on, even without a tee time.

27 holes with varying terrain and challenges for every type of golfer. Two of the 9's are selected each day for 18 hole play while the other 9 is used for those who want to play just 9 or 18 if they cannot get a tee time. For this time of year the greens, fairways and tee boxes were in... More

Course is very nice and affordable. The clubhouse staff acts like jerks at times.

In many respects, I think it is as good as Cowboys, but 1/4th or less the price.

For the middle of February (and after a weekend of rain), the fairways were good and the greens were great. Today's wind on the course (which they can't control) made some of the holes very challenging. Had a great time as part of a small work outing on this Holiday. I will definitely go back to play more holes at... More

This is a unique course below a dam for Lake Grapevine. Up and down holes, dog legs and ravenes. Lots of animals to see after several visits (squirels, ducks, birds, possum, cayote, armadillo, racoon and be careful of the water mockasins in the water!!!)

I have found it to be a pleasure to play this course for several years. The staff are accommodating, helpful and responsive. If you are looking to be pampared, I suggest you play the adjacent Cowboy course where you will spend $100+ for a round of golf. The course is normally immaculate, well groomed and very challanging whether you play... More

Georgous course! love everything about the course, it lets you forget you are in the big city. BUT the staff is rude! Everything about the staff at the pro shop desk is unprofessionaly aggorant. There are plenty of people looking for a job that would do a better job. Besides their blantant disregard to you being a paying customer they... More
