A must see if you are visiting Ft. Worth. If you are able to see the daily cow round up through the stock yards, it is an unbelievalbe sight. Make sure you go into the old western bars and see the original decor. You feel like you are back in the Wild West and that your horse is tied up...

The Stockyards Museum is worth the effort to find it. Located in the Livestock Exchange Bldg. they have lots of history of the Fort Worth Stockyards as well as items of interest in general. Volunteers are knowledgeable and helpful without smothering you!

The Stockyards Museum was one room of random artifacts, but generally uninterpreted, so while interesting, I did not learn too much. They request a $2 donation per person in the drop box inside the door. Unless you really are into the history of the stockyards, I'd probably pass on this until they provide more interpretation of the artifacts.
