Go see the Longhorn cattledrive. Same review for all of the Stockyard history. Bought my first calf with grandpa when they were still selling cattle.
We brought a family member visiting fro Arizona. She was implressed with the shops, saloons, and cattle drive. I hadmn't been there in several years, but liked the variety of shops and eating places I saw. Plan to visit again soon.
If you have never been to the Northside you must go. Billy Bobs Texas worlds largest honkytonk, rodeo, places to eat and dance, music, cattle drives and shops and stores. The Stockyards made Fort Worth and some still remain. Park on the east end of Exchange and enjoy the day and better at night.
Ladies, be sure to have your credit cards ready. The Shops are so much fun. The only hard part is figuring out what to buy. It is like Christmas, only better, I could have brought home half of the town for My Husbands office,.
