I attended the Bernini Exhibit with my husband. It was wonderful! We felt like we were back wandering the streets of Rome. The wall-size photos of Roman bridges and streets helped us remember being there and all the places we stopped for gelato :)) The Kimbell made visiting quite easy. They had free parking with an attendant helping us with... More

Great museum, go for the special events, and enjoy the rest! You won't be disappointed; plan to spend at least 2-3 hours.

This is a wonderful museum. The Kimball seems to commission better shows than other museums close to the Kimball. Love to go there by myself and just wander and take my time

The museum itself is great. A very nice collection of art by people I have actually heard of. The membership is not expensive, but allows you a ton of benefits like behind the scenes tours, first look at new exhibits, and members only socials. Well worth it.

The lighting is amazing, the museum exhibits are always fascinating both the regular collection and the visiting exhibits are always worthwhile. Don't go on the last weekend of any visiting exhibit because it's so crowded but any other time it's usually quite enjoyable. I find it really pays to become a supporting member. Can't wait to visit after the new... More

We went in for a quick visit to see one of Michelangelo's first paintings and enjoyed about 30 minutes roaming around before heading off to the airport. Great free culture.

Bernini exhibit was outstanding---the rest of the exhobit hall has some great displays. Only the special exhibits have entrance fees. The bulk of the display is free and parking is easy.

Small but beautifully formed, the Kimbell is the best primer to European art you'll see. It features all the big names in a small but extraordinary collection, and displays them well. A good compromise for those who want to do some culture on holiday but don't want to be all day about it. You can combine with some of the... More
