This place was awesome! We aren't wine drinkers, but we are staying to. I loved that we could taste the wines before we bought it! We finally know what we like now!
We were encouraged to do the 'wine trail' and this place was highly recommended by friends - who wanted a case of their famous Black and Blue brought back home! We had 'Shirley' as our server and she was very friendly and open to our questions, but the highlight was the tour by 'Kev'. He's quite the entertainer as well... More
My husband and I were visiting and had an opportunity to taste some Hillsides wine while at dinner at the Wyndham. We loved it and decided to purchase some to take back home to Nashville. We walked back to the taste bars in the winery and waited for someone to assist us. There were 3 employees the woman who pretended... More
This place is a joke to anybody who actually likes wine, it is just flavored added to it, grape juice! This is walmart quality wine at best that they are selling for $15-18!? Describing your wines as "similar to riesling" or "A blend of several grapes" is very vague and masking the fact that it is just poor quality. The... More
Hillside Winery is the second one considered to be Sevierville. Another is in Pigeon Forge but all three are basically right off the same main road. This place had easy and free parking. It was a newer place which was very nice. Wines are similar to the others but they did offer some sparkling wines which were different from the... More
Kevin K was by far the most knowledgAble and caring about his job out of all the 5 winery's on the tour. He seems to really like his job and enjoy explaining the wines. We will be back every year. Thank you for the experience.
We came in about 1/2 hour before closing, but Kevin, our server, treated us as if we were his first customers of the day. He was both knowledgeable and personable. Not only did he tell us about the wines, but we also had an interesting discussion about the history of the area in the Civil War. A very pleasant experience.... More
Justin luckette was great!! The best employee we encountered in the 3 winery tour. He was very easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable. Thanks, Justin. :)
I LOVE visiting this winery. In fact every time I visit Sevierville/Pigeon Forge, I always stop at this winery. The staff is absolutely amazing and extremely friendly. Definitely a must-visit for anyone who wants a taste of true, Southern, Tennessee hospitality and really good wine. Before you leave, be sure to ask about the Rocky Top Wine Trail!
This is a nice winery. Everyone is very nice here. They are all helpful and knowledgeable. Sampled some great wines, bought a couple bottles to bring home, too. This is one of five wineries on the Rocky Top Wine Trail and we really enjoyed visiting them all.
