As much as we all hear of the Grand Ole Opry, next time I will skip it and just go to the Ryman unless there is someone special playing there. The facility is wonderful with comfortable seats. There were too many unknowns and elderly entertainers and square dancing besides the frequent commercials since the program is on the radio. It... More

I was not excited to go on a tour but my daughter wanted to.....glad we went. It is a very interesting place full of history and great presence - you can feel the excitement when touring backstage! A little pricey, but worth it. Just getting to stand on "the circle" onstage was pretty cool.....

I have been to the Grand Ole Opry numerous times, at both the Ryman and at the Grand Ole Opry House. I would reccomend seeing a show at the Ryman, but the Opry is only there selected times throughout the year. Either way you will get a great show. I dont think there is a bad seat in either venue.... I'm about as far from being a country fan as it gets, but I had a great time. The music ranges from classic Country Western to New Country, which is a lot like Classic Rock. The quality of the entertainers is top notch. It's also just a great experience to be there where history has been made for so many... More

Four of us went for the "backstage pass" tour -- we got to walk through the studio, the dressing rooms and on stage! The tour was chuck full of interesting facts and there were tons of pictures and stories about every aspect of the Opry. Worth every minute of the time we spent there!

Country music fans might consider more visits but for me, two in the past 35 years is plenty. A classic presentation that has changed little. Artists may come and go but the Opera goes on and on.

I am not much of a country music aficionado, but I was with some folks who did know who the performers were and thought highly of the line-up. I truly enjoyed each performance and it is something that is probably on everyone's 'should do' list.

We have visited the grandoo before and it is to Nashville what Buckingham palace is to London. If you visit Nashville and don't come here, you should be kicked from here to Alaska with the finest pointed toed cowboys boots around. Just go.

It was Great show. Well worth the money. Will defiantly go back. Not a bad seat in the house really. We sat on the balcony area and could see everything just fine!
