Radnor Lake is a hidden gem in a Nashville neighborhood. I hesitate to write this review as crowds would certainly disrupt the serene environment but it's just so beautiful. The walking paths are very well maintained. We usually choose the one that winds around the lake. Make sure that you are not so busy hiking that you miss the wildlife... More

My sister and I visited for a shirt hike on the park trails. They were well maintained and there are a variety of trails for different levels of challenge. It was a very peaceful way to spend a spring morning. We went on a weekday and there were. Fair number of people around. My sister told me that on weekends... More

We visited Radnor Lake State Park on a Sunday afternoon around 1:00pm. We entered the park from Granny White Pike, which is in a residential area, and there wasn't any signs off of the road marking the entrance to the park, so we did pass it once, and had to turn back around. It was a lovely park with various... More

A great park with a trail that circles the lake. There are different hiking options, from very easy to difficult, and all are clearly marked. There was a lot of wildlife the day we went, and we saw frogs, fish, all sorts of birds, snapping turtles, and deer. It's also not too crowded, which is surprising considering it's proximity to... nice enough park when you can actually get a parking spot to go in...they need to fix that or I will give up entirely. Its one of the few parks around soo...it always crowded..kind of takes away from Nature per se.

If you live in Nashville this is a fun park to walk and hike. Very quiet and beautiful even though its close to the city. Highly recommend if you are wanting to get away from reality for an hour or two.

It was Easter Sunday and a bit drizzly but having plugged in my headphones, listening to classical music whilst walking around this beautiful natural forest and lake was a peaceful and warming experience. It is unusual to find such a spot practically in the centre of a metropolitan area, you would not know you were 10 mins outside the centre... More

We came on a weekday at 10 am. By that time, parking was already difficult, and we luckily found the last spot int he parking lot. There were many people walking--- at this time of the weekday, mainly older people. It was a gorgeous day, not too hot, with a slight breeze, sunny skies. Turtles were sunning themselves on the...
