On a recent holiday to Australia, we went on the above 2 trips with Rob from Australian Wild Escapes. Both days were fantastic. We were collected from our hotel and travelled around in a well appointed minibus. Rob was knowledgeable and helpful all day and we had a real sense of relaxation . Although he guided us round all the... More

I must firtst say how fantastic this tour was. I do have one complaint which I will tell you about but I don't what to take away the good things this tour offers. We were picked up by Sandy for our day out and Sandy didn't disappoint with all her knowledge of the history of this must do tour. Everyting... More

We had a fantastic touring experience setup by our travel agent and on our final two days we spent time with Australian Wild Escapes. The 'flagship' tour to the Blue Mountains was laughable to say the least, we saw no aboriginal sites or artifacts, our "BBQ lunch" wasn't a BBQ at all, it consisted of dry, over-cooked meat and the... We loved the Hunter Valley Wine Tour. Our guide, Linda, was wonderful. She molded the trip around our interests and made the trip very special. Because of flooding in the area we were not able to do some things that we had hoped, Linda made sure that our trip was enjoyable and interesting. She provided a variety of experiences that... More

From being collected from our hotel,Ian, our guide, informed us and entertained us not only about The Blue Mountains but also Sydney ,Australian poliitics(!) and a wide variety of other subjects. My wife and I utilized Australian Wild Escapes for our amazing tour of the Daintree Rainforest - including Cape Tribulation. Clayton was our guide and he was absolutely amazing. His knowledge about Australia, it’s history and it’s wildlife were remarkable. He also was a great storyteller and told us some wonderful stories which made the day extra fun. We feel... More

My husband and I went on an amazing tour of the Daintree and Cape Tribulation while we were in Australia for our honeymoon. Cathy was our guide and she was really amazing! She was so knowledgeable about Australia and told us some wonderful stories which made the day so fun. We felt that we learned a lot about Australia's climate... More

Our hotel highly recommened this tour of the Daintree rainforest. Our party included 3 adults and 2 children and we were fortunate enough to be the only passengers. Our tour was definitely luxury and private. Our tour guide Cathy was great and knowledgeable. The highlight was the walk through the rainforest. There were unique plants, trees and wildlife. Morning tea... More

We really wanted to see the Apostles, the Gorge and Shipwreck Coast. The trip didn't start well as we missed out Corio Bay entirely. The coastline to Apollo Bay is pleasant, but nothing out of the ordinary. Our 'luxury' transportation broke down at Apollo Bay, so we missed all the interesting parts of the trip and had a very uncomfortable... More

While in Melbourne, my husband and I did the Philip Island Eco Tour with Australian Wild Escapes. The afternoon and evening ended up being lots of fun and very interesting. The tour was small and intimate which enabled us to ask lots of questions! Our guide, Kylie, was the best--she had all the answers to our questions, provided us with... More
