We have frequently had a light lunch at the Old Kiln Cafe located at Ardbeg Distillery and indeed no visit to the island would be complete without such a visit. The place was interesting, beautifully presented and staffed by helpful welcoming people. The restaurant was especially good and highly recommended as a location for lunch. The whisky, well, an acquired taste and - yes, really powerful stuff.

The staff at the Distillery were excellent, we went to have lunch there and had to wait as it was very popular (no wonder when we ate our meal!) and as my Mother was elderly, they found her a chair to sit on whilst we waited for a table to come free.
