We have visited this museum a few times now, and it always amazes me how they only charge £3.00 per adult for somewhere so interesting. Anyone visiting Princetown should visit here - the section of items made by the prisoners to be used for escaping or as a weapon is intriguing, as is the straight jackets, various uniforms and prisoners... Worth a visit. Interesting exhibits, and history but presentation a bit disjointed. Bit on First World war C Os quite sad. Despite the historical gruesome exhibits, and hard life prisoners obviously USED to have, we have to remember they were there for a reason! Should we have pity for the current inmates, on a less onerous regime??Only £2 entry. More
