This is a great park to take your family to. Very nice view of the river and it has a carosel that your kids will love.
Great park by the riverside. Parking fee is reasonable $1 for 2 hours and even free from 4:30 pm on Saturday till 7:30 on Monday. At the summertime kids can play in the small fountains in front of the old timey - Paris inspired - classic carousel. The park is located across TN Aquarium and Art district. And if you... More
Downtown Chattanooga is a great weekend for the family. The old historic bridge connects downtown with this park across the river and all I can say is ‘It’s worth walking over.’ The 100 year old pedestrian bridge itself is an attraction and rolling our stroller across was easy. We had been at the aquarium and ‘great for younger ages’ children’s... More
We go to Coolidge park to watch the fireworks! It's a wonderful time. The park is huge, has a beautiful merry go round the kids can ride for $1 and I the summer it has a great water fountain for the kids to play in. All year they have wonderful events and a lot for kids. A must see and... More
A very large green space by the Tennessee River, the park has a carousel (indoors) and a meeting space, but mainly just offers a place to relax. Downside is that parking is limited, but not expensive. BUT, you can ride the shuttle to get here.
If you need a place to set you kids free while enjoying the beautiful weather then this is the place. In the summer kids can play in the fountain and there is also a carousel to ride. I think it is a $1 per ride and it is totally worth it! Also great for a date night, geocaching, playing a... More
This park has plenty going on throughout the year from what I understand. I have been there 4 times during my trips to Chattanooga and it has great open areas for an urban location. I visit the Outdoor Chattanooga building when I am there and use their facilities. If you stay on the Delta Queen, it is great having the... More
Well kept park on the north shore. Frisbees flying, yoga classes, bikers, historical tour, good river views.

However, we were kicked out as we were standing beneath a shade tree watching one of the last events. The people throwing cigarettes on the ground weren't... More
