We got season passes for Christmas last year and went once a month through the summer months. There is lots to see and do! They have water activities outside and markets on certain days in front of the building. Both buildings are relaxing and fun, my kiddos especially love the butterfly's and penguins, I love the seahorses. Its a wonderful... More

As an Atlanta resident visiting Chattanooga, I cannot put this aquarium in the same class as the Georgia Aquarium, but it is an excellent facility as it was the last time I visited ten years ago. My three year old had a great time, and it contributed to making our Chattanooga visit a sucessful one! More

I have been to this aquarium many times and have always enjoyed it. We bought the family membership this year which is great if you live in the area. Highly recommend the behind the scenes tour, my wife and I did the one for Ocean Journey and it was great. More

We purchased a package through our hotel which made this a great value since we had up to a year to use the tickets. Everyone was exceptionally nice, especially those monitoring the stations where you could interact with the marine life. There are also numerous locations to dine outside of the aquarium. More

The Tennessee Aquarium has a strong focus on freshwater habitats. Native species, as well as species from around the world are on display. Though saltwater fishes seem to attract more viewers, the freshwater cichlid tank is often teeming with fry, appearing like an underwater dust cloud surrounding the protective parents. Freshwater rays, discus, and many other fish familiar to aquarists... More

I love to see all of the aquatic animals. The walk was very tiring but it was worth it. More

The aquarium itself is divided into two parts- ocean and river. Both have excellent presentations of the creatures which inhabit our waters. The jelly fish were amazing as were the penguins. The snakes and other creepy crawlers were also interesting. Their huge tanks allow one to see a large amount of fish in one place, especially the sharks. The one... More
