It wasn't finished yet when I went. But it's still awesome. The work that has gone into it is just respectable.

We were kind of disappointed. The view is far away, the project is immense. We could have passed on it. The museum and all the artifacts are impressive but, overall it was just OK for us. I would go back to Mt. Rushmore, I wouldn't need to go back to Crazy Horse. Unless they finish it.

We arrived at around 6 p.m. and paid the exorbitant price of $27 for our group of 4. At the admission gate they never bothered to tell us that you need a bus tour (which of course is an additional fee) to get to the monument, and that there were no more bus tours available that day.

The history of the memorial is an inspirational tale of dedication and American Spirit. To be able to see the memorial rising from the mountain side is amazing. It will be stunning once complete.

I visited here this week for the first time in years. When you go don't miss the video about the history of the memorial. Beautiful scenery and lots of authentic American Indian Artifacts.

As visitors from the UK we didn't know much about this place and nearly didn't go. It was an inspiring, fantastic place with an amazing atmosphere. Don't miss it ! Also worth going back after dark for the light & laser show.

Worth visiting if you are nearby but I wouldn't take a big detour to visit.
Weird museum and massive gift shop but some interesting history and pictures of the changes in the memorial as it has changed over time.
We spent around an hour here and felt that was enough. It's impressive but we would have liked to get closer.

Please do go see the 30-minute movie which elaborates on the history of the Crazy Horse monument. The museum itself is excellentt and worth its weight in gold.. The gift store helps support the museum and the monument which is free from government support. There is some shade for those leaving dogs behind in their vehicles. There are some food...

We paid our $27 to get the car with 4 of us in, and the parking was easy since it was offseason. Weather was great, and the video presentation was very interesting and put the rest of the visit in context.
Would have liked to have read more about the man Crazy Horse, not just about the sculpter and his...
