This was by far our favorite experience. Seeing they Hunley was so fascinating, yet a somber experience. We loved our tour guide and what was on display, aside from the Hunley. Very educational and a Civil War buff must-see!
I've been to see the Hunley twice. It is an informative and up close look at the H.L. Hunley. I could not believe how small it was and what it had been through.
The HL Hunley is submerged at this point in a restorative bath. You can still see much of her outer-works and inner-works. Despite some negative reviews, it is well worth the $12 to see. Awesome!!! A must see event!!! The history, the "sacrifice" displayed by the brave men of the Hunley...you MUST go see this!!
You will learn about the Hunley here and see artifacts. The first time we went, I felt a bit disappointed after leaving that there wasn't more. But I love that I'm able to see important history!

I had only a day and half in the area and decided to visit Hunley after reading good reviews about it in the travel book and online. Well, I made a wrong decision. The place was very hard to find. It took us quite a while to find it. And we were very disappointed to find there was not a...
